Sarunas specializes in business strategy, multi-stakeholder leadership, patient engagement, real-world evidence generation, and market access. His work spans five continents, demonstrating his ability to navigate and to lead in diverse cultural and global contexts. He advised majority of global pharmaceutical companies, worked with inter-governmental organizations, and has been shaping cancer policies for over 15 years.

Throughout his career, Sarunas has led over 10 international projects funded under EU4Health, Horizon Europe, and IHI programs and managed 20+ national initiatives. Sarunas has co-authored several legal monographs and research papers on medical law, cancer policies and patient advocacy, has facilitated or spoken at over 300 international events and conducted more than 500 media interviews.

He also serves on advisory boards for organizations such as the British Medical Journal, The Economist, EORTC, has collaborated with Lancet commission, WHO, OECD, European Commission.

Her strategic and results-oriented approach has consistently delivered measurable outcomes, positioning her as a trusted business development partner on a global scale. Karolina’s scientific background extends to Immunology, Genetics, and Pharmacology, gained through her studies at Harvard Medical School.

Regulatory Affairs and Future-Proofing Professional

Justina Januseviciene is a recognized expert in Regulatory Affairs with over 17 years of experience in the life sciences and healthcare fields. Her expertise broadly covers key areas such as regulatory compliance for medical devices and pharmaceuticals, reimbursement strategies, and market access solutions.

As Head of the Health Care Innovations Development Centre at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, she facilitated collaboration with the largest medical academic team in the Baltics, leading to new products, start-ups, and spin-offs with high commercial potential.

Previously, she held key positions at the Ministry of Health of Lithuania, overseeing the development and deployment of the national e-health system, connecting over 40 national information systems and registries.

She also introduced and implemented the HTA model in public and personal health, managed healthcare professionals' supply and demand, supervised the quality and safety of healthcare services, and analysed and implemented cross-border EU healthcare policies.

As a representative of the Ministry of Health at various EU task forces, working groups, and boards, Justina was actively involved in EU legislation, policy dialogues, and expert networking.
